Practice

Giuliana De Felice is a Sydney-based artist with a foundation in creative direction and design. Her practice centres on the interplay of movement and layered light. Her artworks translate the ephemeral qualities of light into tangible, luminous works. These glass resin pieces cast reflections that shift in hue following the light of the day, creating a living dialogue between each wall work and its environment. The series is titled SUPER LUNA and follows the journey of the moon through every phase and season.

Artist background

Giuliana creates richly layered resin works alongside a broader sculptural practice working with marble and metals with a sustained focus on form and materiality. Her artworks have been exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea and are held in both public and private collections. As a guest speaker at the AGNSW International Sculpture Symposium, she has shared her insights and creative vision with a global audience. Her works are published in SXS 20 years hardback edition.
